The new season begins as the NFL playoffs roll into Wild Card weekend with some great matchups. In the Eastern Maine Sports NFL picks contest, Jeff Hoak has almost put a wrap to this season. Hoak went 14-2 in Week 17, and has a six game lead over Anthony DelMonaco (14-2). That means with a total of 11 playoff games, Hoak can clinch his second straight title if he ups his lead by two more games over Delmonaco this weekend. A good battle for third place between Marc Calnan, Chris Lessner, and Cassidy Lessner may go to the wire. Calnan went 11-5, while Chris went 12-4, and Cassidy 14-2 in the regular season finale last weekend. Here is a look at standings and the picks for the first weekend of playoff games:
