Husson field hockey holds off Wheaton in 4-3 victory

The Husson Eagles had four different goal scorers and held off Wheaton in a 4-3 field hockey victory on Saturday at the Winkin Sports Complex.

Wheaton scored first as Karin Dion put in her first of two goals. Husson responded by scoring two goals one minute 23 seconds apart. Adele got the first at the 12:07 mark, Karen Stemm gave the Eagles a lead they wouldn’t give back

Ryley Newcomb and Allysah Greene also scored for the Eagles who evened their record at 2-2. Kimmie Goddard made three saves. Husson will next play on September 21st when they host UMF at 6 PM.
