SPORT: Women Indoor Track

COACH: Kevin Russell

2018/12019 RECORD: 6th place KVAC and 23rdstate Class A, the team will transition to Class B this Season

STRENGTHS: The teams maintains, a strong core of athletes from last season, we return a solid 4X800M relay squad and one of the top hurdlers in the state in Anna Reny. We have also added to our mid-distance and sprint corps.

CHALLENGES: Primarily, we are a small team and we don’t cover all the events, especially the field events, so we given up a lot of points in that respect.

TOP RETURNING ATHLETES: Anna Reny (Hurdles/Sprints) Jillian Brown (Sprints) Brianna Harriman (jumps/Distance) Jenna Hanoian (Sprints)

TOP NEWCOMERS: Zainab Albraihi (Sprints) Grace Kirk (Mid-distance) Kristen Kirk (Sprint/Hurdles /Throws) Mallory Audette (Hurdles) Gabrielle Tibbetts (Sprints)

Biggest Challenges in Our League: Again, we are a smaller team, and the transitions to Class B this season, really does not change much. Class B is highly competitive, we have the BIG THREE of Winslow, Belfast and Waterville and although their numbers have declined, they are well coached teams and their athletes always come prepared to compete. I believe, we have the right mix of girls to be highly competitive and challenge for the KVAC Title

2018/12019 RECORD: We did not have enough athletes, to field a scoring team in either the KVAC or state meet

STRENGTHS: Our strength this year, is the addition of Super Frosh Conor Morin, who will give us a much-needed boost in the field events. He will compete in all jumping events.

CHALLENGES: Our traditionally low numbers, and transitioning to Class B, which field a lot more schools/competitors than that of Class A, so it will be difficult scoring points and getting on the podium

TOP RETURNING ATHLETES: Myles Quirion (Mid-distance) Casey Gallant (Distance)

 TOP NEWCOMERS: Will Campbell (Mid-distance)

Biggest Challenges in Our League: Due to the fact we are a smaller program. Our focus is to get better each meet. We will be competitive and individually our athletes will be successful in their events.
