The Fort Fairfield Tigers boys basketball team will look to overcome lack of depth with strong guard play.
“Our strengths continue to be our guard play and the transition game with the major challenge being a small school with small numbers. This year we have 15 players total that make up the varsity and JV teams,”Fort Fairfield coach Vaughn McLaughlin said. “Developing players will be Sophomore Chase Coiley and Junior Kadin Barnes that will contribute quality minutes to the five seniors that we have.“
Dawson Watson will lead the team from the point guard position. Colby Langner will be a key player in the paint for the Tigers, while Wyatt Keegan will be in the backcourt with Watson.
Outlook: Fort Fairfield has some experience returning and will look to improve on their 12 win season that left them one win short of a trip to the cross center. Would expect them to be in a prelim game again this season.
