On Monday afternoon, Kobe Gilbert from PCHS was named Eastern Maine Sports athlete of the month for January. Gilbert was a two time athlete of the week winner during the month (1/13 and 1/27). Gilbert received 37% of the vote, Peyton Grant (Dexter) finished as runner up with 23% of the vote.
Gilbert led the PVC in scoring with 23.4 points per game. Gilbert also averaged 7.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 3.2 steals per game. Finishing in the top 10 in all those categories.
