NFL free agent/trade tracker 2020

With free agency and trades in full effect around the National Football League we will highlight the major names that so far have changed teams. This story will be updated-

 

ARIZONA- Acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and a fourth round pick in a trade with Houston, in exchange for running back David Johnson, a second round pick in 2020 and a fourth round pick in 2021

ATLANTA- Acquired free agent running back Todd Gurley from the LA Rams on a one year six million dollar deal. Also traded for tight end Hayden Hurst and a fourth round pick in 2020 from Baltimore, in exchange for second and fifth round picks in 2020

BALTIMORE- Traded for defense end Calais Campbell from Jacksonville in exchange for a fifth round pick in 2020

BUFFALO- Traded for wide receiver Stefon Diggs and a seventh round pick in 2020 from Minnesota in exchange for a first, fifth, and six round pick in 2020, and a fourth round pick in 2021. Also acquired free agent cornerback Josh Norman on a one year six million dollar deal

CAROLINA- Agreed to a three year 63 million dollar contract with free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater

CHICAGO- Traded for quarterback Nick Foles from Jacksonville in exchange for a fourth round pick in 2020. Also signed free agent tight end Jimmy Graham on a two year 16 million dollar deal

CINCINNATI- Placed a franchise tag of wide receiver A.J. Green

CLEVELAND- Acquired free agent tight end Austin Hooper on a four year 44 million dollar contract. Also landed free agent quarterback Case Keenum on a three year 18 million dollar deal

DALLAS- Acquired free agent safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on a one year four million dollar contract. Re-signed star wideout Amari Cooper to a five year 100 million dollar extension. Placed exclusive franchise tag on quarterback Dak Prescott

DENVER- Acquired free agent running back Melvin Gordon a two year 16 million dollar contract

DETROIT- Agreed to a three year 30 million dollar deal with free agent linebacker Jamie Collins. Traded for cornerback Duron Harmon and a seventh round pick in 2020 with New England, in exchange for a fifth round pick in 2020. Also acquired free agent defensive lineman Danny Shelton for two years at eight million dollars

GREEN BAY- Resigned tight end Mercedes Lewis on a one year deal worth 2.25 million

HOUSTON- Signed free agent wide receiver Randall Cobb for three years at 27 million. Re-signed tight end Darren Fells for two years at seven million. Also acquires running back David Johnson in a trade with Arizona as previously stated above

INDIANAPOLIS- Acquires defense tackle DeForest Buckner in a trade from San Francisco in exchange for the Colts first round pick in 2020, and also Indianapolis gives Buckner a contract worth 21 million per season. Also signs free agent quarterback Philip Rivers on a one year deal worth 25 million

JACKSONVILLE- Agrees to terms with free agent cornerback Darqueze Dennard on a three year 13.5 million dollar contract. Also picks up free agent linebacker Joe Schobert on a five year deal worth 53.75 million

KANSAS CITY- Places franchise tag on defensive tackle Chris Jones. Picks up 2.3 million dollar option on running back Damien Williams for 2020

LAS VEGAS- Signs free agent wide receiver Nelson Agholor, cornerback Eli Apple, and quarterback Marcus Mariota on one year deals. Also picks up free agent defensive end Carl Nassib on a three year contract worth 25 million, and free agent tight end Jason Witten on a one year deal worth four million

LA CHARGERS- Picks up free agent offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga on a three year deal worth 30 million. Re-signs running back Austin Ekeler on an extension that is worth 24.5 million over four years. Signs free agent cornerback Chris Harris on a two year contact worth 17 million. The team also places franchise tag on tight end Hunter Henry

LA RAMS- Signs free agent outside linebacker Leonard Floyd on a one year contact worth 10 million. Re-signed offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth to a three year extension worth 30 million

MIAMI- Signs free agent offensive tackle Ereck Flowers on a three year contact worth 30 million. Picks up free agent running back Jordan Howard at two years and 10 million. Signed free agent linebacker Elandon Roberts, linebacker Kyle Van Noy, and offensive lineman Ted Karras. The Karras deal is one year and four million, while Van Noy will earn 51 million over four years. The terms for Roberts are unknown currently

MINNESOTA- Re-signs kicker Dan Bailey on a three year 10 million dollar extension. Picks up free agent defensive tackle Michael Pierce on a three year contact worth 28 million

NEW ENGLAND- Signs free agent wide receiver Damiere Byrd on a one year deal worth 2.5 million. Picks up free agent quarterback Brian Hoyer on a one year contract. Extends safety Devin McCourty for two more years at 23 million. Also extends special teamer Matthew Slater for two years at 5.3 million. Signs free agent full back Danny Vitale (terms of contract not disclosed). The team also places franchise tag on offensive guard Joe Thuney

NEW ORLEANS- Re-signs quarterback Drew Brees for two years at 50 million. Picks up free agent safety Malcolm Jenkins on a four year deal worth 32 million. Also signs free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders on a two year contact worth 16 million

NEW YORK GIANTS- Signs free agent cornerback James Bradberry on a three year contract worth 45 million. Re-signs linebacker David Mayo on a three year extension worth 8.4 million. Places franchise tag on defensive lineman Leonard Williams. The team also announced that free agent defensive back Nate Ebner and quarterback Colt McCoy have agreed to join the team with no contract terms as of yet

NY JETS- Signs free agent tackle George Fant on a three year contract worth 27.3 million. Also signs free agent center Connor McGovern on a three year deal worth 27 million. The team extends cornerback Brian Poole for one year at five million

PHILADELPHIA- Signed free agent nose tackle Javon Hargrave at three years and 39 million. Re-signs safeties Rodney McLeod and Jalen Mills. McLeod will get 12 million over two years, while Mills extension is one year worth five million. Free agent safety Will Parks also agreed to join the team. In a trade with Detroit, the team also picks up cornerback Darius Slay in exchange for a third and fifth round pick in 2020. Slay will receive three years and 50 million with his new team

PITTSBURGH- Picks up free agent tight end Eric Ebron on a two year deal worth 12 million. The team picks up free agent fullback Derek Watt on a three year contract at 9.75 million. The Steelers also place a franchise tag on outside linebacker Bud Dupree

SAN FRANCISCO- Re-signs defensive lineman Arik Armstead, center Ben Garland, and safety Jimmie Ward. Armstead will receive 85 million over five years, Garland one year at 2.25 million, and Ward will be extended three years for 28.5 million

SEATTLE- Signs offensive lineman B.J. Finney for two years and eight million. Also re-signs defensive tackle Jarran Reed for two years and 23 million. Picks up free agent tight end Greg Olsen for one year at seven million. Outside linebacker and free agent Bruce Irvin has also agreed to join the team with no contract terms as of yet

TAMPA BAY- In the biggest news of free agency the team picks up free agent quarterback Tom Brady on a two year deal that will pay up to a maximum of 59 million and comes with a no tag and no trade clause. The team re-signs linebacker Kevin Minter and outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul. A franchise tag was placed on outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett

TENNESSEE- Signs free agent outside linebacker Vic Beasley on a one year deal worth 9.5 million. The team also re-signs offensive tackle Dennis Kelly and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Kelly gets three years and 21 million, while Tannehill will make 118 million over the next four years. Running back Derrick Henry was given the franchise tag

WASHINGTON- Signs safety Sean Davis, linebacker Thomas Davis, cornerback Kendall Fuller, running back J.D. McKissic, linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, and offensive guard Wes Schweitzer. S. Davis will receive one year and five million, T. Davis one year 3.5 million, Fuller four years 40 million, McKissic two years no amount disclosed, Pierre-Louis one year 3.45 million, and Schweitzer three years 13.5 million. The team also placed a franchise tag on offensive guard Bradon Scherff
