Former Hampden standout Donovan earns national award

Former Hampden Academy standout center Bailey Donovan has been recognized by the NCAA for being the 2019-20 field goal percentage champion for her work with the Husson Eagles during her freshman season.

Donovan had the highest field goal percentage of any Division III player this past season. She had 12 double doubles to help lead Husson to an undefeated North Atlantic Conference record and another appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The 6-3″ Island Falls, Maine native and Rookie of the Year in the NAC now holds the program record for best field goal percentage in a single season.
