The Fordham Rams dominated the Maine Black Bears on Saturday afternoon, taking both ends of a non-conference doubleheader by scores of 4-1 and 7-1 at Bohoshy Field in Bronx, New York.
Maine (1-5) never had a lead on the day. Julia Martine had a solo homerun and a two run homer in the Rams game one win. Keely Clark had an RBI double for the Black Bears. Kyleigh O’Donnell (1-1) took the loss in the circle allowing four runs on six hits in 5.2 innings. Fordham (8-3) had 11 hits and scored four second inning runs to complete the sweep in game two. Emma Larke had the RBI for the guests with a third inning single. Caitlyn Fallon (0-3) took the pitching loss allowing six runs on nine hits in 4.0 innings. Originally in what was supposed to be a three game series, another two games are on the schedule between the teams on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
