Edniesha Curry, who has been an assistant coach with both the Maine women’s basketball team and more recently the men’s team in Orono, is reportedly headed to the Great Northwest to join the Portland Trailblazers as an assistant under new head coach Chauncey Billups.
The report was made by the Athletic. Curry played college basketball at Cal State Northridge and Oregon, before being drafted in the third round of the 2002 WNBA Draft where she went on to play with both the Phoenix Mercury and Los Angeles Sparks. You can read a report here from SB Nation-
