New NFL season kicks off Thursday night; Brady set to break another record

The National Football League begins their 101st season on Thursday night in Tampa Bay when the defending Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys.

Tom Brady is set to break yet another record when he starts at quarterback to open the 2021 campaign. Brady will be starting his 300th game at the position, breaking the record of 299 set by former Packers/Jets/Vikings QB Brett Favre. The 44 year old is coming off his seventh Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs back in February. Tampa Bay is expected to be one of the front runners for an NFC Title this season, while Dak Prescott plays his first game since Week 5 of last season when he had a compound fracture and dislocated his right ankle that ended his year and required two seperate surgeries. Prescott also didn’t play in the preseason due to shoulder issues, but the team says he is 100% and ready to go.
