Husson men’s soccer blanks Thomas College in battle of NAC unbeatens

The Husson University men’s soccer team remained unbeaten in conference play on Wednesday evening, blanking the Thomas College Terriers 4-0 at Smith Field in Waterville.

Jordi Cabau Limens scored the only goal Husson needed, notching his 15th of the season at the 24th minute of the first half. Jarod Bolton and Jahmal Williams both scored their first goals of the season unassisted, while Arni Hreidarsson also tallied one as the Eagles improved to 10-2-3, 6-0-1 in the North Atlantic Conference. Alex Rechsteiner stopped the only shot he faced, as Husson dominated shots on net 12-1. Jonathan LeClair stopped eight shots for Thomas College. The Terriers lose their first conference game falling to 8-2-0, 6-1-0 in the NAC.

Husson is back at home on Saturday for Senior Day at 12 p.m. when they welcome in Northern Vermont-Lyndon.
