Abby Corson leads Dexter girls soccer to win over Washington Academy in Class C prelim game

Abby Corson came up big in her first career playoff game. The freshman scored two goals to lead the 10th seeded Dexter Tigers girls soccer team to a 3-1 win at 7th seeded Washington Academy, in a Class C prelim game on Friday afternoon.

Annika King added one goal and Jillean Poliquin got an assist for the Tigers. Jasmine Lewis made five saves on nine shots for the Tigers. Dexter will travel to Fort Kent for a quarterfinal game.

Ellie Claverie scored for Washington Academy. Virginia Austin made 9 saves on 16 shots for the Raiders.
