Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week we had five Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nomination. Luna Perry St Peter recorded a triple double in helping Deer Isle-Stonington in a season opening win.St Peter joins Lily Gray (1-9-17), Myles Brown (2) (2-3-2020), and Rylee Eaton (2) (3-17-21). as student/athletes from Deer Isle-Stonington that have earned athlete of the week honors
Female athlete of the week- December 5th-December 11th
- Luna Perry St Peter – Deer Isle-Stonington- basketball- recorded a triple double with 30 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals and 3 assists 65-18 win over George Stevens Academy.

- Izzy Allen- Central- basketball – recorded 37 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals, and 6 assists in 74-41 win over Sumner.
