Husson baseball wins opener at the NAC Tournament

Austin Snow had four RBI and Kobe Rogerson had three on Sunday, as the Husson Eagles won their opener 13-4 over SUNY-Canton at the 2022 North Atlantic Conference Baseball Tournament being hosted by SUNY-Cobleskill in upstate New York.

Husson (22-15) scored 10 runs over the first three innings and cruised to their 13th straight win. Snow had two hits including a three-run homerun, and Rogerson had three hits. Nick Swift also had three hits, while Jackson Curtis and Ty Knowlton had two a piece. Cam Graham (5-3) allowed four runs (two earned) with no walks and seven strikeouts in 8.1 innings to pick up the pitching win. Dyllon Bougor had three hits and an RBI to lead the Kangaroos of SUNY-Canton (10-30).

The top seeded Eagles play again on Monday at 11 a.m. and with a win will advance to the championship round on Tuesday. Husson will play the host Tigers from SUNY-Cobleskill, who crushed Thomas College in their opener 23-4 on Sunday.
