The North Atlantic Conference Champion Husson University Eagles found out on Monday afternoon that they’re headed to Ambler, Pennsylvania to compete in the NCAA Division III Regional Baseball Tournament on Friday.
Husson (24-15), winners of 15 straight games, will battle the host school #10 Arcadia University in a first round game on Friday at 10 a.m. The Knights are the champions of the MAC Freedom and are 38-7 on the season. Also competing in the double elimination regional is the #11 Oswego State Lakers (29-10) an at large out of the SUNYAC, and the Elizabethtown College Blue Jays (22-20) winners of the Landmark Conference. The Lakers and Blue Jays will square off in the second game Friday at 1:30 p.m.
Husson will be seeking their first ever NCAA Tournament win, going 0-2 in last years regional in Hartford, Connecticut with losses to SUNY Oswego and Johnson & Wales (Rhode Island).
