The Bucksport Boys Soccer Team opened their season under the lights on Saturday night hosting the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx. The Bucks showed off their balanced attack besting the Lynx 10-1 with seven different goal scorers. Freshman Trent Goss led the way in scoring with a hat trick while Evan Donnell scored two of his own tacking on three assists. Winger Jason Terrill was not to be outdone with a goal and three assists of his own. Brandon Elden added a goal and assist while Diego Harvey, Rance LaPlant, and Harry Foster each netted a goal as well. Cody Monreal and Braden Gray each had an assist. The Lynx’s Avery Jordan added a late goal heading one in on a cross to close out the match.
The Bucks travel to Searsport on Thursday 9/8 and the Lynx host Schenck/Stearns on 9/7.
