At East Millinocket, Schenck and Lee Academy were tied at 0-0 after 40 minutes of back and forth action. Schenck scored early in the second half off a corner kick from junior Mason McDunnah, with junior Caleb DeSantis placing the ball in the back of the net with 34:05 left in the half. The scoring then picked up for both teams. Less than three minutes later, McDunnah placed another great corner kick into the box and this time it was senior Ryan Ingalls finishing it into the back of the net. With 17:00 to go in the game, junior Gabriel Whitehouse raced down the sideline and delivered a great pass to freshman Brayden Osborne who placed the ball over the goal line for a 3-0 lead for the Wolverines. The Pandas then responded with an offensive attack scoring two goals in a matter of four minutes to make the score 3-2 with 11:45 to play. McDunnah then found himself on a breakaway to goal where he laced up a great shot sealing the deal with seven minutes to go. Kole Giberson made 11 saves on 16 shots for Schenck. Andy Scott made 13 saves on 25 shots for Lee. The Wolverines improve to 3-1 and will travel to Greenville in their next game to try and avenge their only loss on the short season. The Pandas fall to 2-1 and they will travel to Central Saturday.
