Ali Higgins had a hat trick to lead Lawrence field hockey to a win over Cony. Higgins and the Bulldogs have started the season 9-0, outscoring opponents 47-2, including 41-0 in their last seven games. Higgins received 45% of the vote to earn female athlete of the week. Runner up Laney LeBlanc (Skowhegan) received 41% of the vote. Higgins joins Nia Irving (2) (1-30-16), Sage Reed (5-3-21), and Parker Higgins (10-28-21) as student/athletes from Lawrence high school that have earned athlete of the week honors.
