Karleigh Smith scored 24 points to lead the Woodland girls basketball team to a 57-44 win over Schenck on Tuesday night.
The freshman Smith went 10-14 from the free throw line and also had five steals. Hannah Lockenwitz filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Brooke Smith also finished in double figures with 11 points and four steals. Woodland (2-1) will play at Lee Academy on Thursday night.
Priscilla Dickinson and Harley Sprague led the Lady Wolverines with eight points each. Schenck (2-3) will play at Stearns on Thursday.
