The end of the regular season has arrived. In Week 17 of the Eastern Maine Sports weekly NFL pick’em contest, Anthony DelMonaco topped the pickers at 12-3. Jeff Hoak and Chris Lessner came in at 11-4, with Marc Calnan at 10-5. Cassidy Lessner finished at 8-7. Hoak has a four game lead over Calnan for first place, and an eight game edge over Chris Lessner. Playoff participation and playoff seeding is on the line in Week 18. In one of the bigger games of the weekend, the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars battle for the AFC South on Saturday night with the winner going to the postseason. The Miami Dolphins need to beat the New York Jets on Sunday to try reach the playoffs, while the New England Patriots need to knock off the Buffalo Bills or get some other help to make it as a Wild Card. Miami gets in with a win and a New England loss. The top spot in the NFC is still undecided. If Philadelphia was to lose to the NY Giants, and Dallas wins at Washington the Cowboys would win the NFC East and become the top seed. Green Bay also faces Detroit at Lambeau Field.
