Female nominations
- Aaliyah Manning- Ellsworth – softball- had a .688 batting average with 11 hits (7 singles and 4 doubles), 7 RBI, 5 stolen bases, and 6 runs scored in 4 games.
- Mercedes Ulichny- Ellsworth- gymnast- a three season athlete at the Ellsworth High School who also is a competitive gymnast. last week she competed in the Regional YMCA Competition in Glastonbury Connecticut, for the Old Town Orono YMCA team. The meet included the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. She finished 6th on floor, 5th on bars, 4th on vault, and 1st on beam, tying for first place all around in the Diamond division in the entire region. The next day she represented the State of Maine gymnastics team at the USA Gymnastics regional meet in Massachusetts, same states, different teams where she medaled on beam. All while competing on the Ellsworth High school Track team this spring, Ellsworth High School Varsity cheer squad this winter (Class B state cheer champions), and supported the EHS Football team on the Football cheer squad.
- Teanne Ewings- Houlton/GHCA- track and field- Ewings won the Aroostook County League Championship in the girl’s 1600m (5:17.07), 3200m (11:25.26), and 800m (2:32.98). She was runner up in the girl’s 400m (1:07.82) – it was her first time running it this season. Her times in the 1600m and 3200m set new Aroostook League Championship Meet records. She totaled 38 points earning her the Howard Lello trophy recognizing her as the outstanding female performer of the meet.
- Bella Cirone- Narraguagus- softball- pitched a no hitter with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in 2-1 win over Washington Academy. Pitched a one hitter in 11-0 win over Jonesport-Beals.
Male nominations
- Dawson Curtis- Ellsworth- baseball- pitched a 3 hitter with 13 strikeouts in 6-1 win over George Stevens.
- Kam Douin- Cony-baseball- pitched a 2 hitter with 10 strikeouts in 6.2 innings in 3-0 win.
- Hayden Strout- Central- baseball- allowed three hits and one walk while striking out 14 in a win over Bucksport.
