Orono High School and State of Maine cross country star Ruth White qualified for the National High School Championships to be held in San Diego, California with a third place finish at the Footlocker Northeast Regional in Boston on Saturday.
White finished with a time of 17:30 in the championship of the 5000 meter (3.1 miles) run. The Nationals in San Diego will be held on Saturday, December 9.
