PVHS girls breeeze past Stearns on Wednesday night

Freshman Brooklynn Raymond led all scorers with 18 points on Wednesday night, as the Penobscot Valley (PVHS) girls basketball team breezed past Stearns 73-12 in Millinocket.

Raymond also added five assists and five steals and had four 3-pointers in the first half. Ashlyn St. Cyr recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, and six steals for 6-1 PVHS. Stearns (2-5) was led by Kennedy Emerson with five points, and Skylar Wilson also hit a buzzer beating 3-pointer for the Minutewomen.

Both teams are back in action on the road on Friday, as Stearns travels to Bangor Christian and PVHS plays at Central.
