DOVER-FOXCROFT- Cally Gudroe scored 12 of her game-high 20 points in the first half, as Dexter jumped out to a 33-10 lead and rolled to a 55-29 win over Foxcroft Academy on Monday night.
The Lady Tigers jumped out to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter, as they had five different scorers in the first eight minutes led by eight from Gudroe.
Gudroe finished with a double-double as she also pulled down 11 rebounds. She added seven steals and two assists to her outstanding effort.
Mazie Peach also finished in double figures with 10 points, five rebounds, and three blocks. Hannah Dean added nine points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Desiree Adams had eight points, three rebounds, and two assists, and Abi Corson was the floor general with six points, seven assists, six steals, and three rebounds. Lily Bagley chipped in with two points. Dexter (7-1) is scheduled to host Bucksport on Wednesday.
Allie Smith put in a team high 11 points for the Lady Ponies. Sam Ossenfort and Addison Conklin had six points each, Halle Page had five points, while Madyson Kimball had one point with a free throw. Foxcroft (1-7) is scheduled to play at MDI on Wednesday.
