Sumner jumps out quick in boys basketball win over Central

Harrison Richardson and Logan Crowley combined for 19 first half points to lead Sumner to a 56-44 win over Central on Tuesday night.

Crowley scored nine points in the first quarter as the Tigers jumped out to a 21-11 lead after the first eight minutes. Richardson scored six in the second quarter as Sumner held a 33-19 halftime advantage.

Richardson scored 16 points, while Crowley put in 13 points, and Isaiah Rivers also finished in double figures with 12. Sumner (4-6) will host George Stevens on Thursday.

Jakson Pollock scored 16 points to lead the Red Devils. Ethan Ladd had eight, including 2 three-pointers. Central (2-7) will host Mattanawcook on Thursday.
