Dexter girls basketball beats PVHS for a second time this season on Friday night

In Howland on Friday night, Mazie Peach had a team-high 13 points in leading the Dexter Tigers to a 46-32 win over Penobscot Valley High School (PVHS) in Class C girls basketball action.

Peach added 11 rebounds and five blocks, Cally Gudroe had 10 points, Hannah Dean added nine points and nine rebounds, while Kallie Stone chipped in eight points as Dexter improves to 9-1 on the season. The Tigers play host to Mattanawcook on Monday night. Ellie Austin had a game-high 14 points (two 3-pointers) in the loss for 9-2 PVHS. The Howlers two losses have both come to Dexter. Rylee Moulton also scored 10 points, and Brooklyn Raymond had four points. PVHS also returns to action on Monday when they host Stearns.
