Dexter girls basketball rolls to win in regular season finale to finish regular season 17-1

DEXTER- The Dexter Lady Tigers had three players score in double figures and rolled to a 52-30 win over Foxcroft Academy on Wednesday night.

Cally Gudroe and Mazie Peach each scored five points in the first quarter, as Dexter had five different scorers in the first eight minutes to jump out to an 18-4 lead. Desiree Adams scored seven points in the second quarter as the Lady Tigers held a 31-8 lead at intermission.

Adams led the way with 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Gudroe and Peach had 11 points each. Gudroe also had five rebounds and three assists. Hannah Dean added four points and five assists, and Kallie Stone had four points. Abi Corson recorded two points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Annabelle Peakes and Lily Bagley contributed two points each. The Lady Tigers had 17 assists as a team. Dexter finishes the regular season with a 17-1 record and will enter the Class C North tournament as the number one or two seed.

Halle Page led the Lady Ponies with nine points, Allie Smith had eight points, seven rebounds, and two assists. Madyson Kimball and Addison Conklin each had five points, Addie Day chipped in with three points. Foxcroft finishes their season with a 2-16 record.
