Female Nominations

  • Lillian Noyes- Skowhegan- softball- earned the win in the circle, striking out seven, allowing just one earned fun. She  also went 2-4 at the plate with a double and triple in 13-7 win over Messalonskee. Threw a no hitter and hit a home run in 13-0 win over Mt. Ararat.
  • Emma Tripp- Belfast- softball- went 3-4, including a double and five RBI plus pitched a 5 inning complete game with 10 strikeouts in 15-4 win over Mount View. Went 3-4 with a double, homer, and three RBI in 11-4 win over Lawrence.
  • Jordyn MacKay- – Belfast- softball- pitched two complete games, had 18 strikeouts and two walks in 14 innings with a 1.50 ERA.
  • Taylor Grant- MDI – softball- pitched a no hitter with 18 strikeouts, and also went 4-4  with a double, homer, and three RBI in 10-1 win over Presque Isle. Earned the win in the circle allowing five hits and three walks, while allowing two runs (zero earned) and 10 strikeouts in 9-7 win over Presque Isle. Hit a two run homer in 15-3 loss to Washington Academy.
  • Brooke Smith- Woodland- softball- struck out 16, allowing one run in 2-1 win over Jonesport-Beals. Reached base five times, going 3-3 with four runs scored and got the pitching win allowing three runs on seven hits and struck out 13 in 14-3 win over Machias. Pitched a one hitter with eight strikeouts in three innings in 15-0 win over Calais.
  • Mackenzie McAvoy- Lawrence- softball-  had two hits, including a homer, three RBI, and two runs scored, plus got the pitching win with a complete game allowing one run on six hits and three walks, and striking out seven in 5-1 win over Cony.
  • Jetta Shook-  Bucksport- softball- had three hits, including a triple, four RBI, and two runs scored in 14-3 win over Foxcroft. Had three hits and two runs scored in 7-3 win over Dexter.
  • Maya Stone- Camden Hills- softball- pitched a four hit shutout striking out 12 and not allowing a walk in 7-0 win over Bangor.
  • Mia Coots- Nokomis- softball-  pitched a three hitter and struck out 14, allowing two walks and one run plus had three hits and two RBI in 12-1 win over Lawrence. Pitched a one hitter with 13 strikeouts in 10-0 win over Winslow.
  • Madeline Cox- Central- softball- reached base four times, with three hits, four RBI, and two runs scored in 12-7 win over MCI.
  • Emma LaBelle- Orono- softball- had three hits, three runs scored, two triples, and two RBI in 12-1 win over Central.
  • Gracie Greene- Foxcroft- softball- had three hits and three RBI in 13-3 win over Mount View.
  • Molly Simcox- Hermon- softaball- had two hits and two runs scored in 8-3 win over MDI. Went 4-4 with two doubles in 12-2 win over Oceanside
  • Teanne Ewings- Houlton/GHCA -track and field -Teanne won the Girls 1600m in a time of 5:03.63 and would go on to also win the Girls 3200m in 10:48.28 in a meet at Bangor. Both times meet the MileSplit National second team standards.  Her time in the 1600 is second best in the state this season and her time in the 3200m is the fastest in the state so far this season.
  • Desiree Adams- Dexter – softball – had an in the park homer and two doubles in 9-3 win over Mattanawcook on Monday and a three run home run in Fridays 11-9 win over Mattanawcook.

 

Male Nominations

  • Noah Hurd- Mount View-  baseball- allowed one hit and struck out eight (all outs) in 3.2 innings in 11-0 win over MCI. Pitched a complete game two hit shutout, striking out 14 and not issuing a walk in 7-0 win over Belfast.
  • Ashton Ellis- Searsport- baseball –  pitched a two hitter, allowing one walk, no runs, and striking out 17 in 2-1 win over Bangor Christian. Had three hits, including a double, three RBI, and three runs scored in 15-11 win over Buckfield.
  • Noah McMahon- Skowhegan- baseball pitched a complete game, allowing one run (zero earned) on five hits and one walk, while striking out nine, also reached base four times with three hits and one RBI in 14-1 win over Messalonskee.
  • Emerson Michaud- Stearns- baseball- had three hits, including two doubles, two RBI, and two runs scored in 11-3 win over PVHS.
  • Trevor Shimabukuro- Washington Academy- baseball -pitched a no hitter  with 12 strikeouts and didn’t issue a walk plus reached base three times, with two hits, including a double, one RBI, and one run scored in 6-0 win over MDI. Had two hits and three RBI in 16-3 win over Narraguagus.
  • Ryan Winchester- Bucksport- baseabll- pitched a complete game three hit shutout, allowing two walks and striking out 13 in 9-0 win over Dexter.
  • Danny Fowler – Hermon- baseball threw a 75 pitch complete game in a 2-1 win against Old Town. He struck out seven and walked none, allowing four hits and one run in seven innings.
