The 2025-26 schedule for Maine men’s ice hockey has been released.
The Black Bears are coming off a 24-8-6 campaign in 2024-25 (13-5-6 in Hockey East). Maine won their first postseason conference championship since 2004 when they defeated UConn 5-2 at TD Garden in Boston on March 21. They also made the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season, falling to Penn State 5-1 in a first round game of the Allentown, Pennsylvania Regional.
Maine will open the 2025-26 season on October 10 and 11 at Alfond Arena when they host a two game non-conference series against Holy Cross. Some of the other highlights on the home schedule include a pair of Hockey East two game weekends vs Boston University and UNH, a league game in Portland vs UMass-Lowell, while they travel to Quinnipiac and Denver for two difficult non-conference games each with the Bobcats and Pioneers.
