Jessica Dow (Thornton) recorded a double, homer, three runs scored, and three RBI to lead UMF softball to a 9-0 win over SUNY Delhi in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.
Bella Miller (Lewiston) reached base three times with two hits and two RBI. Emma DeBoer got the complete game win in the circle. She allowed four hits and two walks while striking out four.
In game two, Dow had two more hits, including another homer in an 8-2 Beavers win. Maddie Pike (Kennebunk) had two hits and two runs scored. Natalie Simpson (Bucksport) got the win in the circle, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk, while striking out seven.
