Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum both scored 25 points on Friday night, as the Boston Celtics got past the Philadelphia 76ers 108-100 in Game 3 of an NBA First Round Playoff Series at XFinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Boston now leads the best of seven 2-1 with Game 4 coming up in Philly on Sunday at 7 p.m.
A three-pointer by Tyrese Maxey with 8:42 left gave the 76ers their final lead (85-84), but the Celtics regained control for good with an 8-0 run.
Tatum had the dagger three-pointer with 27 seconds to go to secure the road victory. Brown scored 11 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter. He also added seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocked shots. Tatum contributed seven assists and four rebounds to his 25 point night. Payton Pritchard (15 pts), Derek White (11), and Nikola Vucevic (11) also all got into double figures for Boston. Maxey had a game-high 31 points for Philadelphia.
