Ian Boudreau hit for the cycle in leading the Dunkin Comrades to a 7-1 win over the CM Hurricanes in an elimination game of the Senior Legion Tournament at Hampden Academy on Wednesday evening.
Boudreau doubled in the first inning, singled in the third, tripled in the fourth, and hit a two-run homer in the sixth to complete his cycle. Kyle Johnson and Lucas Rutherford also hit solo homeruns. Mathieu Turcotte took care of things on the mound to get the victory, firing 6.2 innings allowing just one run on one hit with three walks and 17 strikeouts. The Comrades (13-7) will play the Post 8 Downeast Captains in another elimination game of the state tournament prequalifier at Mansfield Stadium on Thursday night at 7 p.m. CM finishes up their season at 9-12.
