In an announcement on Thursday, former Maine women’s basketball standout Adrianna Smith became the third Black Bear female student/athlete to win America East Female Scholar Athlete of the Year. Along with all of her athletic accomplishments on the court that included leading the conference in points, rebounds, and assists in 2025-26, she also graduated with a 3.79 grade point average (GPA) in kinesiology and physical education (exercise science), and had a 3.93 GPA as a MBA student.
