Dexter girls soccer wins on historic night

For the first time in school history, a varsity soccer match was played at Dexter Regional High School under the lights. The game saw the Lady Tigers record a 5-0 win over Penquis Valley High School.

Breelyn Gaw and Lakiah Lee each assisted on the other’s goals to give Dexter a 2-0 lead at the half. Skylar Gulley scored for the Tigers less than five minutes into the 2nd half. Gaw and Lee each tallied a 2nd half goal to round out the scoring for Dexter. Gulley assisted on the Lee goal.
Addy Gudroe made 3 saves on 6 shots for Dexter. Gracie Heal made 7 saves on 18 shots for Penquis.
