UMaine-Farmington men’s soccer had five different goal scorers on Saturday afternoon while picking up their first win of the season with a 5-0 North Atlantic Conference home victory over Lesley University.
Star Boma had the game winning goal in the 39th minute. The Beavers scored four times in the second half to pull away. Vishal Mellor (Medomak), Jack Luciano (Gorham), Jackson Landry (Gorham), and Maxwell Hamilton (Brunswick) put up those tallies. Luciano had two assists, while Mellor and JJ Greenlaw (Mt. Blue) added one a piece. Hunter Frost (Monmouth) and Dylan Gagnon combined to make five saves in net for the shutout. UMF (2-6-1, 1-2 NAC) made it two victories in a row with a 2-0 non-conference win over Vermont State University Castleton on Sunday. Reed Pambianco (George Stevens Academy) and Luciano were the goal scorers.
