2025 Miss Maine Basketball has NIL representation as she continues her career at Southern New Hampshire University

AUGUSTA, Maine (November 3, 2026) — Pliable Marketing announced today that 2025 Miss Maine Basketball, Madelynn Deprey, a sophomore on the Southern New Hampshire University women’s basketball team, has signed with the NIL agency for athlete branding and name, image and likeness (NIL) representation services.

Deprey, a native of Caribou, Maine, joins Pliable’s growing roster of high school, college and professional athletes as she looks to build her personal brand, develop NIL partnerships and share her story of determination, perseverance and success on and off the basketball court.

“I am excited to sign with Pliable for NIL representation because the agency has a strong track record of helping college athletes achieve their goals on and off the court. Pliable is also extremely committed to helping increase the popularity of women’s sports through Mission E50; growing up as a basketball player Maine, that means a lot to me. I am excited to help inspire the next generation,” said Deprey.

Deprey grew up in a basketball family in northern Maine, where her father served as the varsity girls basketball head coach at Caribou High School. She began playing basketball at age 7.

Deprey earned conference Player of the Year honors in each of her final three high school seasons and helped lead Caribou High School to the 2025 state championship. Just weeks after celebrating the Gold Ball victory, she received one of the state’s highest individual basketball honors when she was named 2025 Miss Maine Basketball.

The accomplishments on the court for Deprey come despite her health challenges. Before her senior season, Deprey was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a chronic autoimmune-related inflammatory bowel disease. She worked to manage her condition through medical treatment and dietary changes while continuing to compete at a high level.

Deprey is entering her sophomore season at Southern New Hampshire University, where she embraced a transition to the point guard position during her freshman season to help meet the team’s needs. Now entering her sophomore season, she is looking forward to returning to her natural off-ball guard position while continuing to develop her skills and leadership abilities.

Off the court, Deprey is majoring in business and has already earned her real estate license. Through her NIL representation agreement with Pliable Marketing, Deprey will receive athlete branding, NIL education, marketing and public relations support, and assistance identifying and developing partnerships with local, regional and national businesses.

“Madelynn’s passion for business, entrepreneurship and professional development are a great combination for her to create NIL partnerships with brands and businesses. She is a great example of how when athletes learn about NIL, it can create opportunities that extend far beyond sports,” Glynn said. “Her interest in business and real estate, combined with her basketball accolades, including her title as 2025 Miss Maine Basketball will provide a lot of creative branding opportunities. Our goal is to help her build a personal brand that creates value now and long after her basketball career.”

Deprey’s addition to Pliable’s roster also reflects the agency’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for female athletes and helping student-athletes build relationships with businesses that align with their interests, experiences and long-term goals.
