Ellie Cyr recorded a hat trick, including two goals in the first half to lead Wisdom to a 3-1 win over Dexter in the 8-person girls soccer Northern Maine championship game at Brewer on Tuesday night.
Cyr gave the Pioneers a lead they wouldn’t give back when she put one in 9:57 into the contest. With 13:56 left in the first half, Cyr gave Wisdom a 2-0 advantage.
Lakiah Lee got Dexter within 2-1 with 15:04 left in the second half. Cyr added the final goal of the game with 10:23 remaining. Wisdom will play Bangor Christian in the state championship game scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 7.
