Rob Gronkowski told NFL Network Tuesday night that he should be out of the concussion protocol by Wednesday, and will be cleared to play come Sunday when the New England Patriots face the Phildelphia Eagles in Minneapolis.
Gronksowki was injured and did not return when he was hit helmet to helmet in the second quarter by Jacksonville safety Barry Church during the Patriots 24-20 AFC Championship win on January 21.
The Patriots seek their sixth championship in their 10th Super Bowl appearance when Super Bowl LII kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
