BANGOR– Jack Lapierre grabbed a rebound and put in the game winning shot as time expired to lift the Winslow Black Raiders to a 39-38 win over Oceanside in a class B quarterfinal game at the Cross Insurance Center on Saturday afternoon.

Winslow went on a 12-0 run to end the first quarter and take a 14-4 lead. The Black Raiders built the lead to high as 14 in the second quarter and held a 26-16 halftime lead.
Oceanside went on a 9-0 run to start the second half and cut the deficit to 26-25. Michael Norton JR made a three pointer at the end of the third quarter to even the score at 28.
The fourth quarter featured four lead changes with Lapierre providing the dramatics as the horn sounded.
Norton JR recorded 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals to lead the Mariners. Oceanside (13-6) shot 11-13 from the free throw line.
Lapierre scores 11 points and grabbed five rebounds. Michael Wildes recorded 10 points and three steals. Winslow (16-3) will play a semifinal game on Wednesday evening against Hermon or Belfast.
