For you football fanatics, today is the day we have all been waiting for, with the draft officially a week away the NFL has officially announced its season schedule.
As for the Patriots, they will once again look to make another push to the Super Bowl, something that has become a common occurrence, but this time with a little more vengeance after falling short of the Lombardi Trophy last year against the Eagles in Super Bowl 52. With some new additions and some good picks in the draft, the Patriots will look to be top in the AFC once again.
Let’s look at some of the major games the Patriots will be playing in 2018…
-The Patriots will open their season at Gillette Stadium against the Texans on Sunday, September 9th at 1 pm
– Week 2 Patriots travel to Jacksonville for an AFC Championship rematch…. Sunday, September 16th at 4:25 pm…
-Week 3 the Patriots will be under the lights in primetime as they travel to Detroit to face former defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and the Lions… that game will be Sunday, September 23rd at 8:20 pm
-Week 5 is the yearly Thursday Night Football game as the Patriots host the Indianapolis Colts on October 4th.
-Week 6 will be a rematch of last years opener as the Patriots host first-year starter Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football October 14th.
-Week 8 is Monday Night Football in Buffalo as the Patriots face the Bills on October 29th
-Week 9… Patriots host Packers… Tom Brady vs. Aaron Rodgers, November 4th on Sunday Night Football… need I say more?
-Week 10 is another playoff rematch as the Patriots travel to Tennessee to face old friends, Malcolm Butler, Dion Lewis and new coach Mike Vrabel on November 11th at 1 pm.
-Week 11 is the Patriots off week, which is perfectly placed
-Week 13 the Patriots will host Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings which should be an excellent game on December 2nd at 4:25 pm…
-Week 15 brings the Patriots to Heinz Field to face Big Ben and the Steelers on December 16th at 4:24pm..
-And per usual the Patriots will end their regular season on December 30th against the Jets at MetLife Stadium…
