On Sunday afternoon, Gage Poulin was named Eastern Maine Sports April athlete of the month. Poulin has helped the Central Red Devils baseball team on the mound and at the plate in the early part of the season, including hitting two home runs in a Red Devils win over class B power Hermon. Poulin dominated on the mound in a Central win over Greenville.
Poulin joins Michael Norton JR (October 2017) from Oceanside, Carter Tolmasoff (November 2017) from Bucksport, Peyton Grant (December 2017) from Dexter, Sydney Allen (January 2018) from Central, and Zachary Wilson (February 2018) from Piscataquis Community High School as athlete of the month winners.
