On Monday evening, Seth Garvin was named Eastern Maine Sports Lakeshore Restaurant June athlete of the month. Garvin was a standout athlete at Stearns high school. Garvin will be attending Husson University this fall and playing baseball for the Eagles in the spring.
Garvin joins Michael Norton JR (October 2017) from Oceanside, Carter Tolmasoff (November 2017) from Bucksport, Peyton Grant (December 2017) from Dexter, Sydney Allen (January 2018) from Central, Zachary Wilson (February 2018) from Piscataquis Community High School, Gage Poulin (April 2018) from Central high school, and Reece Carter (May 2018) from Penobscot Valley High School as athlete of the month winners.
