The Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics were both in action on the road Saturday night, and both teams suffered tough losses.

At Nashville, Tennessee the Nashville Predators got a first period goal from Roman Josi, and a 26 save performance from Pekka Rinne to blank the Boston Bruins 1-0 at Bridgestone Arena.

Jaroslav Halak made 39 saves in the tough luck loss for Boston (7-4-2). The Bruins were 0-4 on the powerplay, while the Preds were 0-5. Nashville has the best record in the NHL at 11-3-0.

Boston will host Dallas Monday night at 7 pm.

At Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the Boston Celtics lost a very late four point lead and fell to the Indiana Pacers 102-101, in a game that saw 10 ties and 18 lead changes.

Kyrie Irving had hit a three pointer with 38 seconds left to give Boston a 101-97 lead. Victor Oladipo then took over the final seconds, hitting a pair of free throws to cut it to 101-99. After a failed offensive possession by the Celtics, Oladipo hit a three pointer with 3.4 seconds left. Boston had one more chance, but Gordon Haywards inbound pass was deflected and stolen by Oladipo to end it. The loss snaps a four game win streak for Boston, who falls to 6-3. Indiana is now 7-3.

Marcus Morris had 23 points for the Celtics, while Irving had 18. Oladipo was the game high scorer with 24 points for the Pacers.

Boston continues on the road Monday night in Denver to battle the Nuggets at 9 pm.
