Chloe Walton and Poppy Lambert both scored second half goals, and Mia Borley recorded another shutout in net on Friday afternoon as the Maine Black Bears blanked the Vermont Catamounts 2-0 at the Maine Field Hockey Complex in Orono in America East Field Hockey action.

Walton scored her second of the season and the game winner unassisted 1:54 into the third quarter after a scoreless first half. The freshman Lambert added insurance with her third of the year with 3:46 left in the game. Borley stopped all five shots in the cage, as Maine improves to 3-2, 3-0 in America East Conference play.
