Gil Matondo led five Husson players in double figures with 16 points on Friday evening, as the Eagles men’s basketball team stayed unbeaten in North Atlantic Conference action with a 73-59 win over Maine Maritime Academy in Castine
Matondo also had seven rebounds and three assists. Eric Ahlers added 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Christian Smith had 12 points, while Andre McCauley and Connor Heald each contributed 10 points for Husson who improves to 5-2 and 4-0 in the NAC. The Eagles play at UMaine-Farmington on Saturday, December 13th. Jack Banks led the Mariners (3-4, 3-2) with 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.
