Bangor Christian girls basketball finishes the regular season unbeaten

Bangor Christian went on a 26-0 first half run on Monday evening, and would finish the regular season at 18-0 with a 104-19 win over Jonesport-Beals in a girls basketball game played at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Mia Mills led the Royalettes with eight points, as Jonesport-Beals ends their regular season out of Class S at 10-8. The Patriots would hit 13 three-pointers in the victory, led by five of them by Mary Allen who had a game-high 25 points. Annie Allen added 16 points, while Rivers Bradford and Moriah Emerson had 12 each. Also contributing was Carley Andrews with eight points, and Maris Kowalski, Lyndsie Durost, and Caroline Walden with seven each. Bangor Christian put up at least 21 points in each quarter, and will be the top seed in the upcoming Class D North Regional Tournament where they will take on the #8 seed on Monday, February 16th at 1:30 p.m. As part of Senior Night, BC honored seniors Mary Allen, Carley Andrews, and Lyndsie Durost in a pre-game ceremony.
