Carissa Cassidy had a fifth inning game winning RBI single in game two of a NESCAC doubleheader on Saturday, as #14 Colby softball finished a sweep over Williams College with a 1-0 win in Waterville.
Sophia Meade (7-2) pitched a complete game shutout in the circle for the Mules allowing five hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Colby won game one 5-2 behind two hits and two RBI from Ella Wilcox (Windham). Sharlotte Stazinski (9-2) also fired a complete game and got the pitching win giving up two runs (one earned) on eight hits with one walk and four strikeouts. The Mules are now 22-5 and 8-2 in the conference.
