Colby splits NESCAC softball doubleheader with Trinity

#15 Colby softball split a NESCAC doubleheader at Trinity College on Sunday afternoon in Hartford, Connecticut.

The Mules rallied from a 4-0 deficit, scoring three runs in each of the last two innings to get the comeback Game 1 win 6-4. Victoria Ramirez (two hits, four RBI) had the game winning two-run single in the seventh. Colby had a chance to sweep the doubleheader holding a late 3-1 lead in Game 2, but Trinity scored three runs in their last at bat to walk it off on a sacrifice fly for a 4-3 victory. Carissa Cassidy had a two-run single in the loss, as the Mules record goes to 23-8 and 9-5 in the NESCAC.
