Makayla Cook and Hannah Bevelaar had four hits each to lead Penquis softball to a 13-6 win at Dexter on Friday afternoon.
Cook had four RBI and two runs scored. Bevelaar had three RBI and two runs scored. Cook was also the winning pitcher in the circle, allowing six runs on 10 hits and three walks, while striking out eight.
Brooklyn Decker and Ava Harmon had three hits each for the Patriots. Each of them ripped a double to the fence. Harmon scored three runs.
Desiree Adams reached base three times with a double, triple, and two runs scored for the Tigers. Kallie Stone and Raelynn Anderson added two hits each.
