Thomas College women’s soccer got two goals from Briley Rutledge on Saturday afternoon to earn their first win of the season with a 2-0 non-conference victory over Colby-Sawyer (New Hampshire) at Smith Field in Waterville.
Emily Rock (Lake Region) made eight saves in net to help back stop the shutout. Ally Southwick (Fryeburg) and Yaribel Pena added one assist each for the Terriers (1-1). Thomas will head out on the road to play Simmons College in Boston on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
